About ProSigns
Prosigns began in 1991 as Sign and Art Supplies, specialising in pinstripes and simple vehicle signage and over the years developed into vehicle wrapping and building signage. Peter began the business and over the years it has slowly grown to include more than just van and car wrapping. ProSigns has helped businesses redesign their brand with logo design and building signage, locally and nationwide. We’re happy to be offering competitive pricing and are always happy to help.
Mark joined the business as a co-owner in 2012. ProSigns work with a lot of local trades businesses incorporating the design and doing their vehicle signage. As a local Dunedin business, we’re happy to do anything from a small decal on the car door, to a fully wrapped vehicle, right through to large scale building signage, down to footpath signs, and print media.
The staff at ProSigns are experts at vehicle wraps, building signage, and print signage. Peter Rae – Co-owner
In 1991, Pete and his wife started a business from home called Sign & Art Supplies selling product to signwriters. This started well but soon a demand for vehicle detailing (pinstripes, graphics and moulding) took over our time.
Over time, we were asked to make vehicle badges and small signs and ended up purchasing a vinyl cutter to support manufacture. From there the company has grown, and that first vinyl cutter was the start of what the company is now.
The most satisfying thing about ProSigns for Pete is seeing their work on vehicles and buildings when driving around and getting repeat business, even from the first year they started.
Outside of work, you’ll find Pete spending time with family and friends, playing golf or fishing.
Mark Collie – Co-owner and Manager
Mark started working at ProSigns in 2006. He always had an eye for good design but has developed the knowledge and skill needed to execute good design through hands-on experience. Mark is hardworking and driven. He’s ready to meet the challenge of taking ProSigns to the next level in Dunedin and further afield.
The team at ProSigns are what really make the business for him, they’re a good group who work well together. No two days are the same. The sheer amount of design work they produce, taking designs from rough sketch on a piece of paper to a bold and colourful building around town, is incredibly rewarding.
Outside of work you’ll find Mark spending time with his wife and young family or keeping fit through playing golf and running.
Liane Rae - Administration
Liane joined ProSigns in 1995 in administration and manages the majority of the paperwork, from invoicing to wages, account payments and answering the phone, chances are Liane has helped with your project.
Liane enjoys working with the team at ProSigns as they’re a hardworking team who always manage to get in a few laughs while getting the job done. Liane is always happy to help and enjoys getting through their projects, especially during busy times.
It’s interesting to now be able to travel around Dunedin and spot the various vehicles and signs that ProSigns have completed for local businesses. It's always rewarding to see the finished work around town.
Outside of work, you’ll find Liane spending time with friends and family and when she can, getting away for the weekend.
Hayden Kirk – Design & Install
Hayden has completed a four-year apprenticeship in Signwriting and joined the ProSigns team in a part-time capacity in 2004, moving into full-time work in 2005. He’s been with the business ever since and brings almost a decade of experience in signwriting to any project.
Hayden enjoys having a good laugh with the friendly team at ProSigns and doesn’t believe in taking life too seriously. He enjoys working on a wide variety of design projects and is always keen to learn new things. He finds it rewarding to see the finished project he’s helped on and to see happy customers with effective signwriting that’s giving local businesses results.
Outside of work, Hayden enjoys spending time with his young family, spending time socialising with friends and watching anything motorsport.
Nick Cutter – Designer
Nick joined ProSigns in December 2018 and has been in the graphic design industry for over eight years. He’s hardworking and loves seeing a design project through from start to finish. Nick is proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and has developed a wide range of design elements for numerous businesses including logos, brochures, packaging, advertisements, corporate identities, and large-scale printing solutions including car wraps, vinyl signage, fabric flags and banners.
Nick completed his degree in Graphic Design at the Cape Town University of Technology in South Africa and is a senior design specialist who thrives on the complete design process from conceptualisation to delivery. He finds it really rewarding to see the final product and really enjoys the variety of work that he has at ProSigns.
Outside of work, you’ll find Nick spending time with family and friends.
Jason Pegler - Installer
Jason joined ProSigns in 2016 and comes from a background in graphic design and print. Jason is great when it comes to installing car wraps or signage as he has a good eye for detail and finishes work to a high standard.
At ProSigns, he likes the variety of work that the company does as it makes every day different. For Jason, it always brings him great pride to see ProSigns designs around town, on shop fronts or driving by.
Outside of work you’ll find Jason spending time with family and friends, or his pets. On the weekends you might catch him out playing a round of golf.
Shaun Driver - Installer
Shaun worked at an English Signwriters for over six months before joining the ProSigns team in 2016. He brings a positive and happy attitude to every project and is always happy to get stuck in to problem-solve those tricky design challenges.
He likes how well the team at ProSigns work together, with everyone bringing a unique skill set that makes them a strong team. The variety of work they complete is always interesting and seeing complete ProsSigns projects around town is always rewarding.
On the weekends you’ll find Shaun playing Premier Rugby for Zingari Richmond or spending time with his partner and two young children.
